By using Catamount you agree to these terms. They are short, because the game is simple.
Using the game
Catamount is free to use for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Please do not use it in a way that harms the site or other players, such as trying to disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or overload it with automated requests. Please do not copy the site, its question bank or its artwork and present them as your own.
Accuracy of questions and answers
We work to make the facts in Catamount correct, but figures are rounded and some change over time or vary by source. Answers are provided for entertainment and are not professional, financial, legal, medical or safety advice. If you find an error, please tell us.
Your progress
Scores, streaks and settings are stored in your browser. We cannot restore them if you lose them, and we make no promise that they will be kept.
Advertising and third-party services
The site shows ads from Google AdSense and loads fonts from Google Fonts and hosting from Cloudflare. Those services have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of sites that you reach through them.
Intellectual property
The game, its code, artwork, music and written content belong to Alvier Studios, except for third-party material owned by others. Facts themselves are not owned by anyone, and the names of products, places and people that appear in questions belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them.
No warranty and limit of liability
Catamount is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the game will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Alvier Studios is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the game.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
